Personally, I love this look in the kitchen, however, since it's a rule of thumb that a stove should have proper backing, including this design in my humble abode is a NO GO. Such design exposes the stove with too much Qi from all angles. As a result, occupants may experience health issues later on. Ay sus! They died becase you forgot to feed them or didnt clean their filter. That's it. Feng Shui is not about sacrificing animals to get your dreams. If you want things to happen, you have to do some actions as in exchange to the energy. Owning certain animals to mitigate "clashes" is not Feng Shui. It simply means you're a pet owner.
