Slow down in order to move faster
A few months ago, one of my businesses was going through a major overhaul.
In the midst of our pivoting, someone wanted to invest in us.
In our most daring act yet, we said NO.
While the first two months became quite a struggle, as months past it became our best decision.
Eventually, our profit margin increased while giving us more time to focus on other valuable ideas to serve our clients better.
Needless to say, sometimes setting boundaries to slow down is much more courageous than constantly saying yes in fear of disappointing others.
